Goodbye For Now!

Today, I am leaving DC and heading home for an entire month!

First, I wanted to say thank you to everyone for reading my blog this semester! I really enjoyed being able to put all of my memories in one spot and share them with y'all :)

This has been one of the most amazing semesters ever! It's funny because I didn't really like my internship or some of the stuff from The Washington Center, but those bad things don't even compare to all the good things about the semester. I met so many great people and got to explore all of DC!

I can't wait until I come back to DC! I'm sure it will happen one day, since I absolutely love this city :)

Also, I don't know what I will do with the blog for now. If you have any ideas for me, let me know!

Any ideas for the blog? A new focus? I won't be a DC intern anymore :(
THANK YOU!!!!!!

Last Weekend in DC :(

Although I'm beyond ready to go home, I am a little sad that this was my last weekend in DC. But it was a fun weekend! On Saturday morning, I went to Roosevelt Island and on Saturday night, we went to the zoo!

The National Zoo has this thing called Zoo Lights, where the whole place is lit up and you can walk through the zoo at night.

There were different animals made of lights, like monkeys, bears, elephants, stingrays, octopus, and more.

We also got to go in the farm house and see some real animals- we saw donkeys, llamas, and cows.

Zoo Lights was amazing! It was super busy, but definitely worth it.

On Sunday, I returned to Face the Nation! I started my semester there and ended it there too. The show was great and I love sitting in the control room. Going to Face the Nation was one of the coolest experiences I had in DC.

Afterwards, we even got to have brunch with Bob and Pat! I had a wonderful time and I am so thankful that I got to meet and spend time with them this semester.

What did you do this weekend?
Have you ever been on the set of a TV show? Which one?
